Binge Eating Recovery Is About to Hit the Mainstage
I still can’t believe I’m writing this. Selected from 16,000 creators. Mentored by Stephen Bartlett. Suitcase of cash. Tears. Pace-the-house energy. — Nic
Hey bestie….
This one’s personal. Raw. Absolutely surreal.
Last week I got a call I never imagined: Binge Free Bestie won the global Stan Store Challenge, chosen from over 16,000 creators worldwide. That means Stephen Bartlett (yes, that Stephen Bartlett — entrepreneur, Diary of a CEO host, business powerhouse) and his team will be investing in, mentoring, and supporting this work.
If you’ve been here with me through the late nights, the tech meltdowns, the launches that flopped, the rewrites and pivoting — this win is for you. It’s for every woman who’s felt ashamed, alone, and told her body’s story was the problem. This is a moment that changes everything.

How I reacted (spoiler: I ugly-cried)
I woke up to a flood of Instagram notifications. Then the announcement video — me and a literal suitcase of cash. I screamed, I cried, I laughed, I called my husband, I paced, I felt everything all at once: pride, fear, gratitude, and that tiny voice whispering, “Is this really happening?”
This journey hasn’t been glam. It’s been: long days, late nights for the past 18 months, self-doubt, learning tech I had no idea how to use, launches that didn’t land, and the endless loop of starting again. I’ve risked time, money, and emotional energy. I’ve cried in the shower. I’ve wanted to hide under blankets. And I kept showing up.
So right now? I’m equal parts stunned and wildly grateful.
What this win means for Binge Free Bestie (and for you)
This mentorship and investment isn’t just a business moment — it’s a chance to scale the healing. Stephen and his team will help me build the platform and polish the engine so we can bring trauma-informed, therapist-backed food freedom to more women.
What that looks like in practice:
- More reach — more women finding us who need this support.
- Better programs — leveling up The Break Up without raising the price.
- More access — live group coaching, improved resources, and a stronger community.
- Bigger impact — tools and transformation at scale so fewer women blame themselves for binge eating.
This is a catalytic moment — and I’m taking you with me.
Why this matters beyond the business win
This isn’t about applause or clout. This is about dismantling the idea that women are broken if they binge, shame their bodies for not shrinking, or hide their food struggle in silence.
Winning this challenge means more tools to:
- Normalize that binge eating is rooted in unmet needs, not moral failure.
- Deliver trauma-informed, nervous-system-aware practices at scale.
- Create community: real spaces where people feel seen, supported, and brave enough to do the work.
It means we’ll reach the women who haven’t been reached yet — the ones still stuck in the cycle of shame.
I want to build with you
I’ve got so many ideas bubbling — course upgrades, group coaching formats, live retreats, and more accessible content for folks who can’t join a paid program yet. But I don’t want to guess what you need.
Tell me: what would you love to see from Binge Free Bestie next? DM me on Instagram, drop a comment on this episode, or reply to the newsletter. I read everything. I build for you.
Thank you for believing in this mission. Thank you for showing up, for being raw and real in the community, and for giving me the courage to keep going when it felt impossible.
Big things are coming — and they’re for you.
Love always,
Nicole
