The Four causes maintaining your body dissatisfaction
You’ll discover the four key factors: appearance-focused thoughts, body-checking, body-avoidance, and appearance-altering - that often perpetuate body dissatisfaction. You’ll explore one factor at a time and learn evidence-based therapeutic strategies to address and reduce each one’s impact on your life.
Evidence-based therapeutic strategies for body acceptance
You will harness the power of some of my favourite clinical tools from modalities including Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy. You will be guided to apply practical strategies that I share with my clients in my body image clinic, they will support you to challenge your unhelpful beliefs and behaviours towards your body, and build self-compassion.
